Here at Rokpool we have been given exclusive access to the amazing iconic 80’s audio magazine SFX by its creator Hugh Salmon.

Nicknamed ‘The only magazine on C-60’ SFX Cassette Magazine captures the essence of the 80’s perfectly.

Its unique format, unlike any other Magazine, was via cassette tape, featuring news stories, record reviews, rare demos and interviews with a huge collection of artists. From Duran Duran to Paul McCartney, all the stars were in it.

Though very short-lived lasting only from 1981-1982, SFX left a huge mark in 80’s music history and these exclusive recordings are not to be missed.
