It's not often that one gets to meet, and interview such an interesting man as Philip Townsend, his name perhaps not quite so well known as Baily, Duffy or Donovan but his images of sixties London are as important and evocative as any. The stories he has to tell about being the first person to photograph the Rolling Stones or his encounters with The Beatles are fascinating.
